METHOD Gallery: Proto Kelp Talk

Artist Kait Rhoads and Jen Strongin will have a panel discussion to delve into their shared ecological/scientific backgrounds and art that inspires conservation. Strongin is a photographer and Rhoads a sculptor. Kait weaves crowd-sourced “words of reverence” for life-sustaining kelp into an intricate glass installation that evokes the feeling of being underwater. Proto Kelp is supported by a City Artists Grant from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, with additional support from the Seattle What most excites you regarding the programming? A unique combination of art, the environment, and community!
